eThekwini Response to Reported Precinct Faults

Municipal Services

Over the past two weeks, the Bridge City Management Association has continued its engagement with eThekwini Municipality (eTM) to address infrastructure-related service faults across the precinct.

A total of three faults were reported during this period, with two successfully resolved to date. The remaining issue is being monitored, with the Management Association maintaining communication with the relevant department to ensure it is addressed timeously.

Sewer Overflow and Streetlight Repair

The eThekwini Department of Water and Sanitation responded promptly to a report of an overflowing sewer within the precinct, successfully containing and clearing the fault to prevent environmental and health impacts.

Additionally, a faulty streetlight was repaired, improving lighting in the affected area and contributing to overall visibility and safety.

The BCMA remains committed to working closely with municipal departments to ensure that service delivery continues to improve and that reported issues are resolved as efficiently as possible.
