April was a focused month for essential infrastructure maintenance across the Bridge City precinct, with eThekwini Municipality departments responding to key service needs to support safety, functionality, and service reliability.
Targeted Repairs at Intersection
A critical intervention was carried out by the roads and stormwater department at the intersection of Bridge City Boulevard and Torvale Crescent. Repair work in this high-traffic area ensured improved road integrity and better stormwater management.

Sewer Blockages & Lighting Issues: Rapid Response
The eTM Department of Water and Sanitation attended to a blocked sewer drain, completing a clean-out operation to restore normal flow and prevent further service disruption. The Electrical Department continued maintenance across Bridge City, replacing faulty components and restoring key lighting infrastructure, and improving visibility and safety throughout the precinct.

We encourage all members of the community to report any infrastructure faults or service interruptions using the 24/7 fault reporting system on our website, so that municipal teams can respond quickly and effectively: https://urbanmgt.my.site.com/urbanmgt/s/
