At Bridge City Management Association (BCMA), we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. This past 10 days weโve observed both the eThekwini Municipality (eTM) and Metro Police in our precinct.
Increased Police Presence
Local SAPS and Metro Police took proactive measures by setting up two major stop-and-go checkpoints at the Besterโs robot intersection. These operations were instrumental in increasing police visibility and presence in the area. As a result, we have noticed a decrease in incidents, reinforcing the importance of consistent law enforcement efforts in maintaining the safety of our community.
Sidewalk Repairs by the Roads Department
In addition to the heightened security, we had the eTM Roads Department out this week to address infrastructure needs. They successfully repaired a section of the sidewalk at the corner of BC Boulevard and Nkunzana Street. This repair enhances pedestrian safety and contributes to the overall accessibility and upkeep of our precinctโs infrastructure.
Looking Ahead
These actions by eTM and Metro Police highlight the ongoing collaboration to keep Bridge City secure and well-maintained. We are grateful for their continued support and look forward to more initiatives that contribute to the safety and infrastructure of our community.
