ABOUT THE DURBAN BUSINESS FAIR
The Durban Business Fair is a premier and comprehensive strategic programme initiated and managed by eThekwini Municipality under Business Support, Tourism & Markets Unit. The primary objective is to ensure that SMMEs remain an active part of the City’s economy. The success of the Fair has resulted in its extension to the townships, rural areas, and secondary central business districts where we host Regional Fairs in the South, Inner-Outer-West and North regions of eThekwini. These are small scale but very significant and they build up to the Main Fair that takes place late in the year.
This year the event marks two decades with the celebration tagline being CELEBRATING 20 MORE YEARS – ‘Rural & Township Economic Revitalization’ – this indicates that the Durban Business Fair has been in existence for 20 years and we anticipate another 20 years of sustainability and growth.
