Meet The Newest Member Of The BCMA Team

Community and Sustainability

We are proud to announce a new addition to the Bridge City Management Association (BCMA) team. Hloniphani (aka Hloni) is the new Assistant Precinct Manager, he has embraced the position and is looking forward to getting stuck in and doing good work at the BCMA. He gives us a look into his life to help us get to know him a bit better.

What is your full name?

My name is Hloniphani Mpanza.

Your previous experience?

I have worked at Plumblink as a Branch Manager and prior to that I worked as a Centre Manager at a shopping centre.

What do you enjoy about being an Assistant Precinct Manager?

Currently, I haven’t had too much experience in the role to be able know what I’ll enjoy, but I’m really looking forward to seeing and understanding the space we are in being transformed into a busy and well-maintained area and to see peoples’ satisfaction when they enter our precinct.

What attracted you to this industry?

As an aspiring property developer I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for me to learn and understand the role a company like Urban MGT plays in the property space in terms of the difference between having a building in a managed location where a building will hold its value better than not having it in a space that is managed.

What are your hobbies / what do you do in your spare time?

I enjoy training at the gym and playing rugby for my local club rugby team Durban Collegians. In my spare time I enjoy catching up on some reading, spending time with friends and family or you’ll find me doing some activities at church.

Are you married, any kids?

I’m married to my beautiful primary school sweetheart Nontokozo and we do not have any little people as yet.

All the best Hloni, we look forward to seeing you add value at the BCMA.
