At Bridge City, we’re committed to creating a greener and more sustainable environment for our community. Over the past two weeks, Green Africa has been hard at work enhancing our green spaces with a series of productive tasks.
One of the key accomplishments during this period was the removal of alien plants along the iQola road embankment. This proactive measure helps preserve the natural ecosystem of our surroundings and promotes biodiversity within the precinct. Additionally, Green Africa focused on weed removal along the retaining walls leading into the precinct. By clearing these areas of invasive weeds, we not only improve the aesthetics of our entrance but also prevent the spread of unwanted vegetation. The team also dedicated time to tending to the flower beds on Bridge City Boulevard. With meticulous care and attention to detail, they ensured that our flower beds remain vibrant and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.
These efforts by our BCMA team underscore our commitment to environmental stewardship, urban decay and creating a more enjoyable and sustainable environment for everyone in Bridge City.
