Improved Safety & Lighting Across Bridge City

Municipal Services

Through continued collaboration between the BCMA and eThekwini Municipality, this month, the precinct saw improved safety, visibility, and coordinated public management.

A Safe & Coordinated March

During the month, a community march took place within the precinct, with both the SAPS and Metro Police in attendance. The march was controlled, safe and coordinated.

Lighting Repairs Improve Visibility

The municipal streetlighting department carried out repairs to faulty streetlights along Torvale Crescent, restoring critical lighting infrastructure to improve visibility and safety for road users and pedestrians.

These municipal efforts reflect the importance of responsive service delivery and inter-agency collaboration in maintaining a safe and functional urban environment. We encourage all members of the community to report any infrastructure faults or service interruptions using the 24/7 fault reporting system on our website, so that municipal teams can respond quickly and effectively: REPORT HERE
