As winter settles in, our cleaning and greening team has remained committed to keeping the Bridge City precinct clean, tidy and well-presented. Throughout July, a number of routine and seasonal maintenance activities were completed across public areas and key access routes.
Verge Maintenance and Grass Cutting
Verge maintenance in the Town Centre was a key focus this month, with attention given to high-traffic areas to ensure safe and clear pedestrian walkways. Grass cutting continued across scheduled sites, including open plots, the M25 off-ramp, and along boundary fence lines – helping to maintain visibility, reduce fire risk, and create a neater streetscape.

Weeding Between Pavers
The team also undertook dedicated weeding of paved surfaces, removing overgrowth between pavers to enhance the appearance and safety of footpaths. These small, detailed tasks play a significant role in ensuring the precinct remains clean and accessible.

Tree Pruning
Ongoing tree pruning took place during the month, improving sightlines and supporting the health of the precinct’s trees. These efforts are part of our seasonal programme to prevent overgrowth and ensure public spaces remain neat and hazard-free.

We appreciate the continued support of our members and stakeholders. If you notice areas that require attention, please report them using the Bridge City online fault reporting tool.
