Following a traffic signal being damaged in a collision at the Nkunzana Road and Bridge City Boulevard intersection, the incident was reported immediately, triggering a rapid municipal response. A municipal service provider was on site within a week to remove the damaged pole and begin installation of a new signal — restoring this high-traffic intersection to full working order.
Electrical fault on Torvale Crescent repaired
In a separate intervention, a municipal service electrician attended to a damaged cable on Torvale Crescent, reported earlier in the month. The repair restored electrical supply to the affected area, contributing to public safety and service continuity.
Routine precinct camera maintenance by Excellerate
As part of ongoing safety management in the precinct, the Excellerate maintenance team was on site in January to perform its monthly cleaning and system checks of all BCMA-linked CCTV infrastructure.
