At Bridge City Management Association (BCMA), we are thrilled to share positive updates on the ongoing developments within our precinct. These projects reflect our commitment to enhancing the infrastructure and amenities available to our community.
Street Trading Expansion on Bhejane Street
The city has commenced the second phase of the street trading project at 74 Bhejane Street, located opposite the Dr Pixley Hospital. This initiative is part of our broader strategy to support local businesses and create vibrant commercial spaces. The expansion of street trading will provide more opportunities for local vendors and contribute to the economic vitality of the area.
New Development Nearing Completion
Exciting progress has been made on the newest development in the precinct, situated opposite Mpact. The developer has reported that the project is on schedule and is expected to be completed by the end of July. This new development will bring additional facilities and opportunities to Bridge City, further enhancing its appeal as a prime location for residents and businesses.
Hloni Mpanza, Precinct Manager, commented on the progress, saying, “We are pleased to see the positive strides being made in these developments. The expansion of street trading and the nearing completion of the new development opposite Mpact highlight our ongoing efforts to enhance Bridge City. These projects will significantly contribute to the vibrancy and economic growth of our precinct.”

These positive reports from all development sites underscore the dynamic growth and progress within Bridge City. As we continue to advance these projects, we remain dedicated to fostering a thriving and well-connected community.
We look forward to sharing more updates as these developments near completion and begin to make a positive impact on our precinct.
