January brought a return to routine for the Bridge City Management Association (BCMA)<\/strong> teams, with Green Africa<\/strong> tackling the rapid vegetation growth that typically accompanies the summer rain season.<\/p>\n

Focused on maintaining visibility, accessibility, and aesthetics, the team worked across key areas of the precinct to stabilise growing conditions and ensure a well-kept public environment.<\/p>\n

M25 Verge Maintenance and Retaining Wall Care<\/h3>\n

Verge cutting efforts concentrated on the M25 on- and off-ramps<\/strong>, ensuring that overgrowth did not interfere with pedestrian or vehicle movement at these high-traffic precinct entry points. Additionally, the retaining walls<\/strong> throughout the precinct were tended to \u2014 cleared of debris, weeds, and excess growth to protect structural integrity and ensure consistent stormwater flow.<\/p>\n

Tree Bowl and Flower Bed Maintenance<\/h3>\n

Precinct landscaping received a seasonal refresh, with tree bowls and flower beds<\/strong> trimmed and cleaned. These areas, including those around the Town Centre and court, were cleared of weeds, nourished, and neatened to enhance the visual appeal of Bridge City\u2019s shared spaces.<\/p>\n

Looking Ahead: February Preparation<\/h3>\n

With more rainfall expected into early February, additional verge and boundary fence cutting<\/strong> has been scheduled to maintain sightlines and reduce fire risk.
