A productive week of greening

Green Africa had a productive week, tackling the remaining verge maintenance schedule as part of our maintenance cycle. The team aim to start street sweeping in the coming week at the various construction sites around the precinct where debris and sand tend to build up. Before and after verge maintenance.

Maintaining Bridge City

The Green Africa Landscapes grass cutting team was busy with grass cutting of open stands in the Business Estate last week. We appreciate the continuous support by DSW sweepers in helping us maintain clean streets in the precinct.

Water Department Repaired Damaged Fire Hydrant

The water department was on site last week to repair a damaged fire hydrant located on Bridge City Boulevard which had been previously reported by the BCMA security, the repair has been completed and we await the reinstatement of the tar which will follow.

Damaged street sign replaced along Bhejane Road

After being damaged by a car, a directional sign along Bhejane Road was replaced by our Green Africa handyman last week. The new sign was installed with a new steel pipe and PVC sleeve and is looking good!

Collaboration is key!

All relevant authorities; Metro Police, SAPS, SANDF, DSW have been present in Bridge City over the past few weeks and we’ve been working together with them to keep the Precinct safe. Our Green Africa Landscapes cleaning personnel started on 6th April to assist with cleaning.

Bridge City MA Continual Support During Lock-down

The Bridge City Management Association will continue delivering essential services and keeping an eye out for faults through twice daily patrols while still practicing social distancing and sticking to strict hygiene protocols.
