Cleaning Up The Node

This August Green Africa’s handy man replaced damaged street signs at the corner of Bridge City Boulevard and Torvale Crescent. The Green Africa team also removed advertising and other illegal signs from street poles in the precinct.

Street Signage Repaired

Adept at a range of area management services, the Green Africa maintenance team employed by the BCMA replaces a street sign damaged by a car on the corner of Bridge City Boulevard & Torvale Crescent.

Bridge City Street Lights Maintained

Boulevard Signage Repaired

Good work by the Green Africa maintenance team on their repairs to various street signage along Bridge City Boulevard that has been knocked down by cars. In each instance, the team only had to replace the plastic sleeves inserted into the base of the sign – a management trick the team picked up.

A thank-you to the eThekweni Municipality for replacing manhole covers in the precinct, including this one on the lower platform, which was a severe safety risk for pedestrians cross this area.

Road Marking Maintenance Continues In Bridge City

The eThekwini Municipality Roads Department were hard at work during the end of March carrying out road marking to renew faded markings in the area. This enables motorists and pedestrians to be more aware of the rules of the road and ultimately aids in lessening accidents in the area.

Street Lights Repaired

During March the Municipality also worked on repairing the streetlights on the corner of Bridge City Boulevard and Bhejane Street.

Street Name Plates Fixed In Bridge City

Street name plates with new poles and sleeves have been installed along Bhejane Street and Nogwaja Road in Bridge City. These take an average of 2 days to repair by the Green Africa handyman and are usually broken as a result of car accidents.
